Help stop development at the Wolf Creek Ski Area

Please read and do your part to pressure the Forest Service to stop development!

Dear Friends,

The Wolf Creek Ski Area is one of Colorado’s last authentic ski areas where it’s still just about the skiing and snowboarding. The base area and surrounding forest is free of hotels, condos and restaurants; there is no Village at Wolf Creek – yet.

Wolf Creek is under threat of “development” by Mr. Billy Joe “Red” McCombs who owns property near the ski area. Development means clearing trees and building lots of big buildings and drastically changing the region. McCombs has for 25 years tried to develop his property and so far he has been denied.   1. Noooooo! Wolf Creek is my favorite ski hill because it’s so low key (and has some of the best skiing, IMO). I love skiing and then hitting up the springs in the evening. I hope he keeps getting shut down!
